Raku - Beautiful Surface/Wonderful Form

Transform your work using a variety of glazes, oxidation and reduction techniques. Explore the wonderful way to a beautiful surface with raku firing. Try sculptural handbuilding techniques, for better survival rates or make a press mold for tile multiples! Come push your boundaries and fire as much as possible.

Thursday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, M $280/NM $300
All Levels, 12 Weeks

This ancient technique satisfies that need to cover your surface with painted design. Try your hand at simple handbuilt forms, then we will design and paint the surface. Discover your inner painter! Basic handbuilding skill is helpful but not necessary.
