Clay Mornings

Making and glazing shapes, big and small, is what Clay Mornigns is all about. We share, try out, compare notes and cheer each other on. Every course contains some new demos, so see what's on the journey this fall!

Build Your Clay Universe
Act 48 Credit
Wednesday 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM

All Levels, 8 Weeks
Lab/clay fee $45
Find out how you can use clay to suit your personal vision. You will also come away with practical ways to handle clay in a group setting and relate it to other areas of your curriculum. You will find that few other crafts adapt so well to the wide ranging interest of growing children and young adults. This course will also include slides, a short video presentation and an experiment in primitive firing. Optional text: The great Clay Adventure by Ellen Kong Davis 1999. This class may be taken for continuing education credit Act 48 hours are provided through sponsership of the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership and the Pennsylvania Council or Arts.
